The easiest biscuits you'll ever make

These really are so easy to make. Great for baking with little ones or to make a quick treat. No leaving in the fridge before baking, no rolling out, no complicated instructions or lists of ingredients, just simple and delisious.

Makes 24

INGREDIENTS
225g Margerine (don't be tempted to use butter instead. If you do they completly lose there shape while cooking and don't set right)
225g Plain flour
150g Icing sugar

Flavourings:
vanilla esscence, almond essance, replacing a tablespoon of plain flour with cocoa powder, lemon zest, chocolate chips ... ect

 METHOD
  1. Pre heat the oven to gas mark 4
  2. In a mixing bowl beat the margeriene with a wooden spoon until creamy.
  3. Seive in the icing sugar and carefully beat until fully combined and creamy.
  4. At this point I like to add any flavouring ingredients and mix in.
  5. Add in the flour and mix until in forms a thick batter. This should'nt be firm like most biscuit doughs but more like a very thick cake mix.
  6. Cover a tray in greaseproof paper. You don't need to grease it.
  7. Using a spoon add heaps of the mix onto the tray leaving 4 cm bettween them.
  8. Then using a fork press down to flatten the biscuits slightly.
  9. Then bake for 10-15mins or until they begin to brown.
  10. Don't be tempted to put them back in if they are still soft, they will be but they quickly start to harden as the cool.
TIP: If you wet the fork in cold water it will stop it from sticking.

And there you have it, super easy and really yummy.
