Beef Stir Fry



Serves 3

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 steaks
  • garlic (about four cloves)
  • 320g stir fry veg (I used the Vegetable & Beansprout Stir fry pack from Tesco's)
  • 1 red pepper
  • 150g mangetout
  • olive oil
  • Light soy sauce 

This is madly easy to make and seriously delicious. Perfect on a summer day too !

Slice that steak into thin strips. Not crazy thin, you want a bit of substance. And thow it into a wok or a shallow cassserole dish with a splash of olive oil, about a teaspoon.
Chop the red pepper into chunks about 3cm by 3cm. And throw it and the mangetout into the pan with the beef and fry those suckers until they're cooked and slightly crispy. Splash in a some soy sauce. I don't really do exact measurments but its way more than you would expect and honestly down to taste.
Then add the crushed or finely chopped garlic. Let it brown for a minute before throwing in the Stir fry vegetables and frying them until soft.

Serve with noodles or rice
